You've never eaten an omelet?!? Just when I think I've discovered all your quirks...

And I'm terribly jealous of your time together. I feel I would have enjoyed myself (and you all) thoroughly.

So many comments!

Answering your questions in order...

Annie Chase, I was in Seattle for a big actuary meeting. Most of the time I was in meetings, but I did a tiny bit of exploring on my own. Then I flew to Oregon to visit college friends (John and Christina). You would like them a lot, especially John.

Yes, I really did eat my first omelet last week. Previously, the combination of cheese and eggs just seemed...suspicious. Come to think of it, I also ate my first quiche recently. But wait! Aren't you impressed that I ate Lithuanian food?!

And Jessielynn, I kept expecting to bump into you and Ariel browsing the bookshelves at Powell's. It was odd to be there on my own. We missed you mightily.

And Ali, when were you in Seattle?! I'll have to ask you later today...
